Speaking of composting.....

.....some time back. since then we've composted some cow bodies. Here the site they were taken a buried in manure.

Looking closely the white objects are cow bones only remaining at this time. Supposed to be if we recirculate the bones they will eventually break down. I know I'm late bringing this topic of interest back up again. When I should have taken pictures months ago, either I had left the camera home or the batteries were dead twice, the light had faded making the light unacceptable, plus I had forgotten many more times than I can remember to even snap one in passing. The gray mounds are woodstove ashes.
